This 1959 Corvette is FOR SALE
I purchased this car in 2013 with the intention of racing it in the ECTA one mile run which was held in Maxton, NC, about 100 miles from my home. The engine I put in the car is a GM crate motor, 572 cu.in., 620 HP. Just before I finished the car the ECTA event was moved from NC to Ohio, so I never raced it in the ECTA event. The car has a GM 4L80E 4 speed automatic transmission. I ran the car with the stock Barry Grant Demon 850 CFM carburetor for several years and then decided to put a Holley fuel injection system on it.
I purchased all the fuel injection parts from Holley and installed them in the car along with a 5 gallon fuel call installed in the trunk. The battery is also installed in the trunk along with a battery disconnect which was required by the ECTA rules.
The car has 1994 C4 suspension front and rear
with a Dana 44, 3.45 rear end. I widened the
rear fenders 2.5 on each side to accommodate the 325/50R15 Mickey Thompson ET
Street Radials, rear wheels are Weld Prostars, 10" wide, 15" diameter, 6.5"
backspacing. Front wheels are (2 sets) C5
Wagonwheels with 245/45ZR17 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires.
Rear wheels are C5 Wagonwheels with 275/40 ZR18 Summitomo tires.

Pontiac spares with M&H P185/55 R17 skinnies.
The car has a 5 point belt system, lap belt, seat belts, and shoulder belts. The roll cage has been removed, but the roll bar is still in place to provide an anchor for the shoulder belts.
Also
included with the car are all the parts to convert back to carburetor: Intake manifold, distributor, TPS, 4L80E T-COM
controller with harness and software, electric fuel pump, fuel lines. See the "Carburetor parts" at the bottom of this
page. I also will include a power steering pump that will attach to the C4
front rack & pinion steering gear.
Asking price is $68,000.
