Wheel covers are held in place by a threaded rod in the spinner.   The threaded rod screws into a nut in the center of an aluminum plate mounted in the center of the '98 Corvette rim.

The wheelcover mounted on the wheel.  It is primed and sanded and ready for the second coat of primer.

The new 572 crate engine arrived today.

Test fitting the body with engine/transmission in place.    So far it looks like the only serious clearance problem will be routing the exhaust from the #1 and #3 cylinders, around the steering column.
