Test fitting '93 Corvette suspension to frame
The rear "batwing" is cut off
Still working on the right side rocker panel. Replacing the part of the bottom lip that was missing.
The rear differential "batwing" has been cut and bent and is ready to be welded.
Welding the spacers on the rear "wings".
Front and rear suspension in place. The springs have not been installed yet, so I made some turnbuckle "shocks" to hold the suspension at the proper ride height.
First trial fitting of the body on the frame.
Wheels are from a '98 Corvette. The 18"x9.5" wheels in the rear may be a little too wide.
Some of the fiberglass inner fenders has to be trimmed in order to clear the front suspension.
A section of the spare tire well has to cut out to clear the rear differential and tie rods.
Making a new piece of fiberglass to cover the hole in the spare tire well. The piece that was cut out is at the top and a new flat piece has been created using a sheet of mirror glass to ensure that it is flat.
The old and new pieces are cemented together and fitted in place.
