Remote control door "popper". This is the passenger side door. The large solenoid pulls down on a turnbuckle which pulls a steel cable routed through a small pulley which pulls up on the door latch. The outside door handle and lock will be "shaved".
Windshield wiper setup from Specialty Power Windows. The new wiper transmissions are connected to each other and to an electric motor by means of an aluminum tube. Inside the tube is a sliding flexible shaft that turns the wiper shafts. The motor will be mounted inside the passenger side kick panel.
Fiberglass rear bumpers. Total weight savings from front and rear bumpers and brackets should be about 70 lbs.
