Lokar tail mount shifter. Only problem encountered was that the actuating rod interferred with the rear speed sensor. A 0.5" spacer on the end of the shifter lever solved this problem, but also necessitated a larger cut in the transmission tunnel.
A friend gave me an "L88" hood that was made for aC1. This hood will solve my carb clearance problem, but it is going to take a lot of work to make it fit.
The hinge mount pads were too small, not exactly in the correct location, and been filled with body filler, so I removed them. I made a fiberglass mold of the hinge mounting pads from an original 59 hood and attached them to the new hood.
